The TECA1-xV-xV-D series TEC controllers are designed for driving Peltier Modules. It can regulate the object temperature with high energy efficiency and high stability. The efficiency can go up to 90%. The high stability is 0.01°C. The TECA1-xV-xV-D series is compact and highly integrated. The TECA1-xV-xV-D TEC controller is packaged in a 6 sided metal enclosure, which blocks EMIs to prevent the controller and other electronics from interfering with each other. TECA1-5V-5V-D is one of the TECA1-xV-xV-D series TEC controllers.
The first “5V” in part number TECA1-5V-5V-D, stands for supply voltage, the second “5V” stands for the maximum TEC voltage. “D” stands for DIP package. The maximum output current is 2.5A. TECA1-5V-5V-D can be used with the Evaluation Board TECEV104.
