ATLS4A214 laser driver of ATI

ATLS4A214 laser driver is an electric module with high voltage and constant current, which is used to drive laser diodes in many fields, such as modern industry, communication, national defense and so on. This driver has a wide input voltage range from 5V to 16V, a maximum output current 4A and a wide modulation bandwidth. Figure 1 is the physical photo of the ATLS4A214 laser driver.

As shown in the photo, it is known that this driver is packaged in a compact metal enclosure, which can help block interferences from other electronics. During operation, the ATLS4A214 laser driver has high efficiency, so there is no need of heat sinks. By using the laser driver, users can regulate and monitor the laser current and temperature. In case the temperature exceeds the limit, 120°C, the driver will close the output stage and enter into Standby Mode.
