Peltier controller is an independent research and development product of
ATI, which is designed for
drivingthermoelectric coolers (
TECs) to regulate the object temperature. Peltier controller has many good characteristics, such as high energy efficiency, high stability, high accuracy, compact size, etc. As shown in Figure 1, this Peltier controller packaged in a six sided metal enclosure has zero EMI to avoid the interference with other electronics. Peltier controller can realize such functions as thermistor T-R curve linearization, temperature measurement and monitoring, temperature control loop status indication, TEC voltage monitoring, power up delay, and shut down.

Peltiercontroller comes with a low noise reference voltage. By using the reference voltage, the object temperature can be set and the temperature error is independent of the reference. The internal temperature measurementnetwork also uses the voltage as reference, and the errors in setting and measuring the temperature cancel with each other.
There are many kinds of Peltier controllers in our company, including those with or without an internal compensation network and without internal compensation network. The Peltiercontroller without internal compensation network needs an external compensation network. The compensation network can compensates high order thermal load and stabilizes the temperature controlloop.
