LED is the abbreviation of light emitting diode. LED is being widely used with the development of economy and technology. In this paper, I will introduce the application of LED in the aspect of indicator light in the circuits.

1. A indicator light of AC power supply
As long as the circuit is connected with 220V/50Hz AC power supply, LED will be lit, which represents the power supply is switch on. The resistance value of the current-limiting resistance R is 220V/IF.

2. A indicator light of AC switch
LED is used in the circuit of the indicator light of incandescent lamp. When disconnecting the switch, the light will go out, and at this moment, the current is through R, LED and EL and then the LED lights, which can help people to find the switch in the dark.The loop current is so small that the lamp cannot light. When turning on the switch, the lamp will work and LED will go out.

The double color LED is used in the indicator light circuit of AC power supply socket. The switch S controls the power supply of the socket.When the red LED lights, there will be no electricity in the socket; when the green LED lights, there will be electricity in the socket.

LED is used as a fuse indicator in the equipment distribution box.When the insurance tube is intact,LED does not light; when it fuses, LED will be light, which can inform the users which one is burned out. It is very convenient to tell whether the porcelain core type fuse is intact.
