LED Energy-saving Lamp

LED energy-saving lamp uses white light emitting diode with high brightness as a light source, which is a new generation of solid cold light source. It has many advantages such as high luminous efficiency, less power consumption, long service life and safety and environmental protection. Comparing with tube energy-saving lamps, LED lamps have high brightness, good light performance, wide voltage range and some other characteristics. Through the microcomputer controller, seven color changes of LED can be achieved. Comparing to incandescent or fluorescent lamp with low voltage, LED has obvious advantage in the respects of stability and long service life. The continuous work time of incandescent lamps is rarely more than 1000 hours; using electronic driver, the continuous work time of fluorescent lamps can be up to 8000 hours; LED trouble-free work time can reach 50000 hours.
However, there are also some disadvantages of LED energy-saving lamps.LED lamps with AC driver have the same stroboscopic phenomenon with the ordinary incandescent lamps, while an ordinary energy-saving lamp is without stroboscopic phenomenon. Strobo flash will easily cause eye fatigue. As the light of each LED is too bright, it can strongly stimulate the eyes, but the light of ordinary energy-saving lamps is relatively softer. The irradiation angle is limited, generally only 120°, while the ordinary energy-saving lamps can be up to 360°.The irradiation room brightness of LED is not better than the energy saving lamp because LED has high brightness only in a narrow angle.
