Laser Driver Control System

Most of high precision constant current sources use integrated operational amplifier. The principle is to make the voltages added to the two input ports of the comparison amplifier are equal by using negative influence, resulting in constant current output there are two factors that affect the stability of the output constant from the constant current sources: one is the inner factor of the constant current source, like voltage reference, sampling resistor, amplifier gain, zero drift, and noise voltage; and the other one is external factor, like input voltage, resistor load, and the ambient temperature change, etc.
Soft start circuit
The diode laser can be damaged due to accident open or close of multiple electronics in the same electric network. The main reason is that there will be a large instantaneous impact current when the switch is opening or closing. This current damages the diode laser. Therefore, the input of laser driver should be soft start circuit, which prevents the laser from being damaged.
Our laser driver has a soft start circuit inside the laser driver, which ensures smooth current transactions during power-up period.
