Due to the different needs of our customers, we designed AC input laser driver and DC input laser driver. The voltage of AC input laser driver can be 110V, 220V or 240V. Such as AAS12A12V2, AAS40A4V2, AAS45A4V2, etc. The DC input laser drivers accept different input voltage ranges, such as 3.2V to 5.5V, 4.7V to 16V, 4.7V to 28V. Now let's take a look at the series of AC input constant current laser drivers ATLSxA216.

In order to drive high voltage laser diode better, we have developed a series of high voltage constant current laser drivers ATLSxA216. Three models with three different current values are available. It allows driving one or more laser diodes and its current can be as high as 12A. There is no need for heat sink thanks to its high efficiency. At the same time, it has both a wide input voltage range from 5.5V to 15V and a wide output voltage range from 0.8V to 0.8VVPS. This laser driver temperature and current can be monitored. The output of the laser driver will be shut off when the temperature exceeds 120°C. It has the function of under voltage protection. If the input voltage is below 0.4V, the controller will be shut down. The laser driver has many other features, such as, loop good indication, current set, soft start and so on.

We have specially designed the evaluation board ATLS216EV1.0 for evaluating the laser driver better. The load assembly, ALLD10A14V, is designed to emulate laser diodes for evaluating this series of laser drivers ATLSxA216. It’s very convenient that the laser driver ATLSxA216 collocates with the load assembly ALLD10A14V and the evaluation board ATLS216EV1.0.
