Laser driver LDA1-CP1-D

LDA1-CP1-D is packaged in a 6 sided metal enclosure with small size; it prevents drivers and other electronic devices from interfering with each other. It is designed to drive p-type diode lasers with good control and stability. It can monitor the drive current and output laser power. Two versions are available: the LDA1-CP1-D-SNI and the LDA1-CP1-D-SNO. The former one represents that the external signal synchronizes the signal of the chip, and the latter one is that the signal of the chip synchronizes the external signal.

Because of the PWM output stage of the laser driver LDA1-CP1-D, the efficiency of the driver can be as high as 90% and no heat sink is required. The output current and laser power can be set linearly by two separate input voltages: LIS and LPS. And monitored linearly at the same time by two output voltages respectively: LIO and LPO. Its maximum output current is 2A and the driver works from 3.0V to 6.0V.

The laser driver also provides some other features: Control loop good indication, Power/current mode indication, Shut down control, 2.5V reference voltage, Synchronization output and Synchronization input.
