104 series ultra low noise laser diode drivers are used for driving laser diodes, such as DPSSL, EDFA, SOA, fiber laser, DSB diode lasers, etc. ATLS500MA104 is one of this series. As the part number shows, this laser driver comes with a 500mA low noise current.
The output voltage of this laser driver is from 0.5V to 3.6V when it is powered by a 5V power supply. At 0.1Hz to 10Hz, this laser driver has a low noise, about 3.96μA. Besides, this laser driver has other features like separate output current and output current limit settings, loop good indication, and laser driver internal temperature monitoring. There is a temperature compensation network inside the laser driver, which keeps the output current unchanged even when the controller temperature rises.
