Evaluation board of laser driver is designed and used to evaluate laser driver conveniently and safely. The laser is usually expensive and vulnerable, thus it's necessary to use a dummy laser to emulate real laser. ATLS1A103DEV1.0 is such an evaluation board to evaluate popular laser driver series, ATLSXA103 series laser drivers, including ATLS100MA103D, ATLS200MA103D, ATLS250MA103D, ATLS500MA103D, and ATLS1A103D laser drivers of DIP package.
This laser driver evaluation board comes with a dummy laser on the PCB board, and it allows to set the output current. Users can read the laser driver's temperature, monitor the working status of the laser driver, etc. When all the requirements are met, the users can disconnect the dummy laser and connect a real laser. The physical photo of the laser driver evaluation board is shown in below, and the laser driver will be placed in the middle place of the board for proper evaluation.
