A laser driver is an electric module to drive one or multiple laser diodes with low noise and high efficiency for applications such as DPSSL, EDFA, and fiber lasers. The laser driver designed and produced by our company (ATI) has high quality and long service lifetime. And in our company, there are various types of laser drivers, such as ATLSXA212 series, ATLS_XXX_103 series, ATLSXA201D series and so on. The following photo is a typical one of ATLSXA212 series laser drivers.

The ATLS1A212D laser driver has full swing output voltage: 0.8V to VPS and maximum output current 1A. During operation, the driver can achieve many functions, setting the output current, regulating and monitoring the current and temperature, etc. As it generates little amount of heat, there is no need of heat sink for normal operation. In addition, the laser driver uses a constant frequency high efficiency PWM output stage to avoid frequency beating interference.
