Our laser drivers are used to driver diode laser. There are kinds of laser drivers, such as low noise low current, high efficiency medium current, AC input high current high efficiency, high current short pulsed, etc. Take ATLS1A103 as an example. This diver is an ultra-low noise laser driver.
The physical photo of laser driver
Since the maximum power consumption of this laser driver is less than 1W, no heat sink is required by this laser driver. This laser driver comes with a temperature compensation network, so the output current keeps the same as the temperature rises of the controller. There is also a protection circuit inside the laser driver, so it will shut down itself when the laser driver temperature is higher than a limit, 120°C. This will prevent the laser driver from being overheated and damaged.
