High Voltage High Current TEC Controllers

Based on our low and medium power TEC controllers, we recently designed and released a series of high voltage high current TEC controllers for high power, >100W, applications.

High Voltage High Current TEC Controllers - TEC18V15A Series

The TEC18V15A series TEC controllers can be powered by a power supply of 5.5V to 18V voltage and output up to 15A current with +/-14.5V voltage span. It can achieve a high efficiency of up to 92% - no external heat sink is required to operate. They come with auto PID control firmware, no manual tuning for the compensation network is needed. If preferred, traditional analog compensation network can still be utilized after manual tuning the component values for matching the thermal load characteristics. The TEC12V9A series TEC controllers can be powered by a power supply of 5.5V to 12V voltage and output up to 9A current with +/-9.6V voltage span. It can achieve a high efficiency of up to 92% - no external heat sink is required to operate. They come with auto PID control firmware, no manual tuning for the compensation network is needed. If preferred, traditional analog compensation network can still be utilized after manual tuning the component values for matching the thermal load characteristics. They come with auto PID control firmware, no manual tuning for the compensation network is needed. TEC28V15AEV1 is designed for evaluating the TEC28V15A, TEC18V15A, TEC12V9A series TEC controllers conveniently. It allows configuring the maximum output voltage and current, set-point temperature range, set-point temperature, etc. There is also an ooption for choosing the compensation network: classical analog type or automatic PID type.
